Banquet seating we supply

Banquet chairs live a hard life: stacked ten high, trucked between ballrooms, set and struck twice a day. We supply the ones that still look presentable in year five.

Banquet seating is bought by the hundred, so small per-chair mistakes multiply fast. The difference between a $38 chair and a $55 chair is usually invisible in a rendering and very visible after two hundred events — bent frames, crushed foam, snagged fabric.

When we quote banquet seating we work through the whole system: stack height, dolly and cart counts, storage footprint, and replacement availability, because you will re-order in three years and the pattern needs to still exist. Tell us your ballroom capacity and how many turns a week you run, and we'll size the order properly — including spares.

Weight is a labor cost

Your banquet team lifts every chair thousands of times a year. A two-pound difference per chair is real money in setup time and worker's comp risk. Aluminum costs more up front and usually wins over ten years.

The stack test

Chairs that scuff each other when stacked look tired fast. We check bumper placement and stacking geometry before recommending anything.

Fabric you can re-order

Ballrooms re-order. We favor programs with continuity fabrics so chairs bought in year four match chairs bought in year one.

Questions we get a lot

Steel or aluminum banquet chairs?

Steel is cheaper up front and fine for lower-turnover rooms. Aluminum is lighter — which your setup crew feels on every event — and generally outlasts steel in high-frequency ballrooms. If you run multiple turns a week, aluminum usually pays for itself.

How many banquet chairs should I order for my room?

Rated capacity plus 5–10% spares. Chairs break, get borrowed, and get damaged in transport. Use our banquet seating calculator to get capacity from your room size, then add the buffer.

Do banquet chairs come with carts or dollies?

Not automatically — and you need them. Plan roughly one dolly per 8–10 chairs of your working stock. We include cart counts in every banquet quote so storage doesn't become an afterthought.

What do banquet chairs actually cost?

At event volumes, most of what we supply lands between $35 and $90 per chair depending on frame material and fabric. Below $35, expect frame fatigue and crushed foam inside a couple of seasons.
